Every contest is rendered by the Agate Typesetting Engine™ in the dense columnar newsprint professional sports enthusiasts have relied upon since the telegraph: passing, rushing, receiving, scoring by quarter, final.
The Five-Minute Syndication Cadence™ keeps the statistical record of every game in progress current, and Live-Edition Acceleration refreshes the contest an Associate is actually watching. RandallCloud Acquires RandallSports™, Introduces the Zero-Highlight Sports Section

DALLAS, TX — October 15, 1998 — RandallCloud, Inc. (PCX: RCLD) today announced the acquisition of RandallSports™, an athletic-outcome disclosure platform, and its immediate assignment to the company's Media & Entertainment Division alongside RandallNews™ and RandallArcade™.
The acquisition was completed during a Thursday evening football broadcast, at a total transaction value of eleven dollars.
"We were watching a parlay come apart one rushing attempt at a time, and the industry had nothing to offer us but a graphics package," said Randall P. Smith, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "Our customers do not need a man in a suit pointing at a touchscreen. They need to know how many yards the running back has, how many he needs, and how much time is left. RandallSports answers all three in agate type, and then it gets out of the way."
RandallSports is built on the Agate Typesetting Engine™, the Five-Minute Syndication Cadence™, and the Zero-Highlight Architecture, which the company describes as "a sports section with the television removed." Coverage at launch spans the National Football League and the Football Bowl Subdivision of intercollegiate athletics. Final box scores are retained in the Permanent Statistical Archive, which the company expects to occupy less storage across a decade than a single highlight reel.
RandallSports interoperates natively with RandallBets™, the company's wagering operations platform, which cross-references each wager leg to its originating box score. Analysts characterized the pairing as "the first sports product designed to show you, precisely and in real time, which leg cost you the ticket."
RandallSports is available to credentialed Associates through the RandallCloud Intranet Portal. Availability to the general public is under review by the Media & Entertainment Division, pending the outcome of the current season.
